Client reporting software that handles the write-up.
A client report does two jobs. It shows the numbers, and it explains them. Matcha handles the second one: you bring the month’s numbers, and it drafts the paragraphs your client reads, on a link that opens on a phone.

What you get when you paste a month of numbers
Paste the figures, drop in a CSV, or add up to five screenshots of a platform’s insights page. Matcha reads them and shows you the list first, with anything it was unsure about flagged, so a misread number doesn’t reach the report.
- It leads with the result your client pays you for, such as leads or sales, then the biggest moves up or down.
- It explains each move in plain English, using only your numbers and the notes you add.
- Where it can’t tell why something changed, it writes “not confirmed” and names one thing to check.
- You click any paragraph to edit it, then copy a link your client opens on their phone. There is nothing for them to log in to.
What a finished paragraph looks like
This is a short sample for a made-up client, Syd’s Cycles. The only note was that a bike-fit reel went up on September 12.
Result. Email signups from Instagram reached 212 in September, up 29% from 164 in August.
Why. Reach grew 18%, from 35,000 to 41,300. The bike-fit reel you posted on September 12 may account for part of it.
Not confirmed. Story replies fell 22%, from 96 to 75, and nothing in the notes explains it. Check whether Stories went up less often.
What Matcha does today, and what it doesn’t
| Part of the report | How it works | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Reading your numbers | Pasted text, a CSV, or up to five screenshots | Live |

| Changes with no known cause | Marked “not confirmed”, with one thing to check | Live |
| Sharing | A link that opens on a phone, with no login | Live |
| Pulling from your accounts | You paste or upload instead | Not yet |
| Scheduling | Reports aren’t run on a schedule | Not built |
| Emailing the link | You send the link yourself | In Pro early access |
| Your logo, colors and domain | A small Matcha mark stays on the link | In Pro early access |
Who it’s for
Matcha is built around freelance social media managers with one to fifteen clients, each owed a report every month. It doesn’t charge per client.
Start from the layout closest to your work: the social media report, the monthly marketing report or the client report. Each one is the working tool, so you can paste numbers on the page.
Questions
- What is client reporting software?
- Software that gathers a client’s marketing numbers and turns them into a report. Some products focus on dashboards and charts. Matcha focuses on the written part, the paragraphs that say what happened and why.
- Does Matcha connect to my accounts?
- Not yet. You paste numbers, upload a CSV, or add up to five screenshots of a platform’s insights page.
- Does Matcha email the report to my client?
- Not today. You get a link to send yourself, and emailing it for you is on the Pro early access list.
- How many clients can I report on?
- As many as you have. Matcha doesn’t count clients. Free keeps your 20 newest links live, and Pro keeps every link live.
- Is this free?
- Yes, with no account needed. A fair use limit applies each day. Pro is $49 a month, and early access is open on the home page.
- What happens to my client's numbers?
- When Claude writes the report, it reads them and your notes. A CSV is read in your browser, and screenshots are read once and dropped. We keep the report, which quotes the figures it explains, and drop the numbers themselves. Turn on 'Show the numbers table on the link' in Share to show them as a table on the shared link. A nickname works in place of the client's real name.
