About marketing reports
Put this period's numbers beside the last one's. Matcha writes the marketing report your client will read, starting with the result they care about, in about a minute.
What the finished report looks like
Juniper Row Physio

Leads56+36.6%
Cost per lead25-26.8%
Social reach22,900+24.5%
What changed
Leads went from to . Website visits rose from to , up , and conversion rate rose from to , so a slightly larger share of visitors got in touch. You told us the new booking page went live on the 8th, so that is the change to read these numbers against.
Ad spend held at , which means the fall in cost per lead from to comes from the extra leads and not from a cheaper budget.
Social reach grew from to . The cause is not confirmed. We will check which posts carried the extra reach.
Why it matters
The same budget bought more leads than in September, and leads are what the clinic pays for. The conversion rate gain is small, points, so it is worth another month of watching before anyone calls it a trend.
Next month
Keep the booking page as it is and watch conversion rate for a second month before changing anything. Check which posts drove the extra social reach, so next month's posting plan can repeat them.

What goes in a marketing report
A marketing report exists to answer a client's real question: is the money working? The six rows above answer it for a client running a few channels. They are website visits, leads, conversion rate, ad spend, cost per lead and social reach.
Start with the goal. If the client wants booked appointments, leads and cost per lead go first and visits come after. If the goal is awareness for a launch, social reach leads. Matcha opens on the result the client pays for when it can find one, and your notes tell it when it can't.
Leave a row blank when it doesn't apply. A client with no ads gets no spend line, and nobody has to explain a zero.
Reading channels side by side
Website visits, leads and social reach count different things. Visits are sessions on the site, leads are people who got in touch, and reach is people who saw a post. Adding them together, or calling leads a percentage of reach, produces a figure that looks tidy and means nothing.
Conversion rate is the link between visits and leads, so it earns a line. When it moves, say so in points. From 1.3% to 1.5% is up 0.2 points. Calling it up 15% is true and sounds bigger than it is.
Cost per lead runs the other way. Lower is better, so a drop from 34 to 25 is good news even though the number went down.
The part a dashboard leaves out
A channel's dashboard shows what happened. It does not say why it matters to this client or what you are doing about it, and that is the work you get paid for.
Matcha writes that part from your numbers and your notes. Tell it in the notes box what you changed during the period, like a new landing page or a paused campaign, and it works the change into the right paragraph. Without a note, a big move is marked as not confirmed, along with one thing to check.
Every report ends on what happens next, so the client finishes with a plan.
Questions
Is this free?
Yes, with no account needed. A fair use limit applies each day. Pro is $49 a month, and early access is open on the home page.
Which channels does this cover?
Any of them. Matcha reads numbers, so it doesn't matter where they came from: ad platforms, Google Analytics, an email tool or social insights. Paste them, upload a CSV, or add up to five screenshots.
Can I report on a quarter or a single campaign?
Yes. The time range is free text, so type "Q3" or "the spring launch" and put the matching numbers in both columns. For a full quarter there is also a quarterly business review template.
What if I run no ads?
Leave Ad spend and Cost per lead blank. Matcha writes about the rows you filled in.
What if I don't know why a number moved?
Leave it out of the notes and the report says the cause isn't confirmed, with one thing to check. Matcha doesn't guess at causes, because a wrong guess in front of a client costs more than an honest gap.
What happens to my client's numbers?
When Claude writes the report, it reads them and your notes. A CSV is read in your browser, and screenshots are read once and dropped. We keep the report, which quotes the figures it explains, and drop the numbers themselves. Turn on 'Show the numbers table on the link' in Share to show them as a table on the shared link. A nickname works in place of the client's real name.
